Stephanie Waring is an accomplished actress, author, speaker, and women's health advocate whose career has spanned almost 30 years across television, film, and publishing. Best known for her portrayal of Cindy Cunningham in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, Stephanie has become one of Britain's most recognisable soap stars. Since making her debut as Cindy Cunningham in 1996, she has brought one of the show's most iconic characters to life through countless unforgettable storylines.

Alongside her success in Hollyoaks, Stephanie has built an impressive body of work across television and film. She has appeared in dramas including Coronation Street, Holby City, Doctors, Nice Guy Eddie, and the Australian series Crash Palace, showcasing her versatility across a wide range of genres. In 2018, she embraced a completely different challenge by competing in ITV's Dancing on Ice, skating her way to the quarter-finals and winning over viewers with her determination. More recently, Stephanie has expanded into feature films, completing work on Rebooted.

Away from the screen, Stephanie is a passionate storyteller and advocate for personal growth. In 2024, she released her memoir, Breaking the Script, an honest and uplifting account of resilience, reinvention, and finding the courage to embrace life's unexpected chapters. Through her writing and public speaking, she inspires audiences to navigate change with confidence, challenge limiting beliefs, and discover strength through adversity.

She has also become a passionate advocate for women's health and wellbeing, championing honest conversations around midlife, menopause, body confidence, and creating a healthier relationship with food. Having experienced an eating disorder from a young age and spent much of her career working in an industry where appearance was constantly under scrutiny, she understands the pressures many women continue to face. She speaks openly about overcoming food guilt, quieting food noise, embracing strength over restriction, and redefining what health and confidence can look like beyond 40.

Following her own experience of early menopause, Stephanie has become committed to helping women better understand the physical and emotional changes that come with this stage of life. Through open conversations around hormones, nutrition, fitness, mental wellbeing, and healthy ageing, she encourages women to take ownership of their health with knowledge, compassion, and confidence.

Whether captivating audiences through unforgettable television performances, inspiring readers through her writing, or empowering women to embrace midlife with confidence, Stephanie Waring continues to evolve as one of Britain's most respected actresses, authors, and advocates.
