As an award-winning actress and presenter, Nikki has been lighting up British television screens for over 25 years with her talent, versatility and charm. She first captured the nation's attention in 1999 as Candice Stowe on Coronation Street, quickly becoming a fan favourite on the iconic ITV soap before exiting the role in 2005.

Since then, Nikki’s career has skyrocketed. She’s undertaken a string of diverse roles across stage and screen, including Holby City, New Street Law, and Strictly Confidential, before stepping into the shoes of Dawn Bellamy in the much-loved series Heartbeat from 2008 – 2009.
In 2012, Nikki then joined Hollyoaks as Maxine Minniver – a role that would define a new era in her career. Her gripping and emotional performances made Maxine one of the show's most compelling characters, earning Nikki multiple award nominations, including Best Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards. After just shy of 13 incredible years, Nikki announced her exit from the soap in 2025.
Nikki’s talents go far beyond scripted drama. She’s no stranger to live TV and high-pressure environments, having hosted shows such as CD:UK, Junior Eurovision: The British Final, and Ministry of Mayhem in her younger years. She also took on the ultimate challenge in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins for Stand Up to Cancer, showing grit and determination in a whole new arena while making it to the final episode of the series.
