Get to know NIKKI...
Nikki first rose to prominence as Candice Stowe in ITV’s flagship soap Coronation Street, joining the cast in 1999 until 2005. Cast as a teenager, the role established her as one of the show’s most recognisable young characters and marked the beginning of a television career that would span more than two decades.
Following her initial success, Nikki went on to appear in ITV’s long-running drama Heartbeat, portraying Dawn Bellamy between 2008 and 2010. The role further demonstrated her versatility as a performer and strengthened her presence across primetime drama.
In 2012, she joined Channel 4’s Hollyoaks as Maxine Minniver in what would become one of the defining roles of her career. Over an impressive 13-year tenure, the character was at the centre of some of the show’s most powerful and socially impactful storylines, tackling themes including domestic abuse, mental health and trauma. Nikki’s performances received critical recognition and industry awards. In addition to her on-screen work, she has starred in a number of UK touring theatre productions and is also a passionate singer.
Nikki has also built an extensive portfolio across entertainment and presenting. In 2023 she took part in Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins for Stand Up To Cancer, pushing herself to her physical and mental limits and ultimately reaching the final. As a presenter, she has fronted programmes including CD:UK, Junior Eurovision and Ministry of Mayhem, developing a natural confidence in live broadcasting. More recently she has joined BBC’s Morning Live as a guest presenter, fronting a range of films and features.
She maintains a strong online digital presence, sharing lifestyle, beauty and wellbeing content with a loyal and highly engaged audience. With a combined social reach of more than 650K, she regularly partners with leading brands across partnerships and campaigns.
