Dr Tom Naylor is an orthopaedic registrar who has worked as a full-time NHS doctor since graduating from medical school in 2015. Alongside his clinical career, he has built a strong presence across British television as a trusted medical expert, regularly appearing on daytime programmes to provide accessible and informative advice on a range of health topics.

Tom’s television work includes appearances on ITV’s This Morning as part of the programme’s ‘Health Matters’ campaign, where he has taken part in live phone-in discussions answering viewer questions on a variety of medical issues. He has also appeared on ITV’s Lorraine and has become a regular contributor to BBC’s Morning Live, where he frequently presents medical segments covering seasonal health, wellbeing, orthopaedics and everyday medical concerns.

In 2024, Tom combined his two professional worlds when he hosted a live medical segment for BBC Morning Live from an ice rink, educating viewers on how to stay safe while skating during the festive season. The feature brought together his expertise as both a doctor and professional skater, offering practical advice on injury prevention and winter safety while proving himself to lead on-location live features.

Alongside his medical career, Tom is also an accomplished professional ice skater. He joined ITV’s Dancing on Ice as a pro skater and appeared on the show alongside his wife, fellow professional skater Yebin Mok. In 2019, Tom was paired with Coronation Street actress Lisa George on Dancing on Ice. The pair quickly became a favourite with viewers, progressing through the competition to the quarter finals and ultimately finishing in fifth place.

Away from television, Tom and Yebin shared an exclusive shoot with OK! magazine to announce the arrival of their second child. Tom continues to balance his career in medicine with his work in television and broadcasting, using his platform to make medical knowledge more accessible while also sharing his passion for skating and performance.
